Plea entered in drug case

Mary P. Boring

A Butler woman charged with distributing drugs out of a home near the city police station pleaded guilty in Butler County Court on Wednesday.

Mary P. Boring, 28, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy before Judge Timothy McCune.

The plea agreement calls for a sentence of six to 18 months in county jail.

She was charged after an incident on North Washington Street between April 18 and May 4.

Following investigation of alleged drug activity, officers executed a search warrant and found between 230 and 240 bags of suspected heroin, 22 individually packaged rocks of crack, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.

A full report will appear in the Butler Eagle.
