SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock Community Library, 465 N. Main St., will have a scarecrow contest from Oct. 3 through 31.

The contest is open to individuals, businesses, organizations and clubs.

There is a $10 fee to enter. Proceeds will be used to support the community library.

The scarecrows will be on display at the library with voting from Oct. 5-31 via Facebook, website and in person.
