Julia Baxter poured in 27 points, brought down 23 rebounds and blocked seven shots Wednesday night to lead the Butler County Community College women's basketball team to a 70-62 victory over Penn State-DuBois.

Christina Davis added 24 points for the Pioneers in their season opener.

Men's Basketball

Despite 27 points and 10 rebounds from Garet McHenry, BC3 fell to Penn State-DuBois, 93-86.

Brandon Record scored 18 points, Chris Pipkin 17 and Jake Anderson had 10 boards.
