CENTER TWP — VA Butler Healthcare is hosting a “Coffee with the Quad” event at 9 a.m. Jan. 22 that is similar to a town-hall meeting, but in a different format.

It will be held at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center auditorium.

Attendees are invited to have a cup of coffee and chat with the VA Butler Healthcare's leadership team, also known as the Quad.

The feature topic is telehealth. Staff will provide an overview of telehealth technology at the Butler VA and will include a demonstration of Virtual Video Connect and the Annie App.

General informational updates also will be provided, and attendees will have an opportunity to share concerns and ask questions.

Veterans, family members and the public are invited to attend.

The Butler Transit Authority is offering free rides on its commuter bus service between Butler and Pittsburgh on the third week of every month through May.Free trips will be available from Jan. 20-24, Feb. 17-21, March 16-20, April 20-24 and May 18-22.In addition, new passengers can get a 15-trip pass free with the purchase of a 31-trip pass by emailing their name and contact information to info@butlertransit.com.
