Nick Delano tossed a complete game Thursday, scattering five hits as Center Township defeated Cranberry, 8-1, in Butler County Legion baseball play.

Delano struck out four in the victory.

Nick Richards paced an 11-hit attack with a home run, double, single, two RBI and two runs scored. Brendan Beer had a double, single and RBI, Adam Voelker and Adam Kline two singles each.

Dane Milich contributed a double and three RBI.

Camden Raeford doubled and scored a run, Daniel Komoroski getting a single and RBI for Cranberry.

Meridian 11, Butler City 2 — Nick Malis, Zach Henderson and Jesse Saviski combined for 14 strikeouts on the mound for Meridian (2-0).

Justin Rickert had two singles and three RBI.

Jacob Stutz had two singles and scored two runs while Evan Knauer had two singles.

Sheldon Hile doubled and singled for Butler City, scoring a run and driving in the other.

Connor Thomas added two singles, Colter Cavilero a double.
