Caleb Rugg

Caleb Donald Rugg, 31, of Hilliards, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 6, 1990, in Butler, the son of Lori K. Rugg of Butler.

Caleb enjoyed fishing and cooking, having worked in many local restaurants. He was most recently employed at Kelly Chevrolet.

He attended Butler High School and Knoch High School, where his favorite sports were basketball and soccer.

Surviving are his mother, Lori (Robert Philpot); his loving daughter and the light of his life, Harper M. Rugg; his uncle, Barry (Carla) Rugg; his aunt, Jodi Rugg; his cousins, Kristen (Ryan Todd) Rugg, Kelly (Clay) Kohlmeyer and Merritt Rugg; and he was loved and cherished by Chason, Bella, Mason, Ty and Presley Jean, with whom he enjoyed spending his time.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and L. Jean Rugg; and great-grandparents, F. Ethel and Wesley Herman.

RUGG — Private service and burial will be held for Caleb Donald Rugg, who died Monday, Dec. 20, 2021.
