Gertrude Edinger

Gertrude F. Edinger, 91, of Penn Township, formerly of Pine Township, Gibsonia, entered her heavenly home and joined her beloved son, Jesse Edinger, on Tuesday morning, Dec. 21, 2021, at Sunnyview Home in Butler.

Born April 30, 1930, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude F. Hughes Edinger.

Gertrude had worked as a caregiver.

Surviving are her daughter, Connie Maiure (Al) of Mars; her son, Edward Edinger (Debra) of Butler; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, June Mills of Mars, Mary Barb Chisnell of Maryland and Carol Lee Zarbinicky of Chicora.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Edinger; an infant daughter; and her sisters, Joan Dobson, Peggy Peaco and Clara Gray.

EDINGER — Arrangements for Gertrude F. Edinger, who died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, are private and are under the direction of McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Pine Township.
