Butler Twp. commissioners to consider budget
BUTLER TWP — The board of commissioners will have a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29 to potentially propose the 2022 budget.
Commission president Dave Zarnick said the discussion at the meeting may lead to a vote to officially propose the budget. The township could have the final vote at its Dec. 20 meeting.
“We have to have it done by Dec. 31,” Zarnick said. “We've got to watch the dates ... We can make a vote in that time frame and have it done by the end of the year.”
As proposed at a Nov. 4 meeting, the 2022 budget does not call for a tax increase for residents, according to township manager Tom Knights.
