Sherwood G. "Chip" Maxwell
Sherwood G. “Chip” Maxwell, 67, of Butler passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born March 6, 1953, in Butler, and was the son of the late Sherwood L. Maxwell and Barbara (Varellis) Maxwell.
Chip retired from Troy-Alan Chevrolet Buick GMC.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Maxwell, whom he married Nov. 24, 1972; four children, Shane (Sandy) Maxwell of Portersville, Robert (Theresa) Maxwell of Slippery Rock, Barbara Maxwell of Butler, and Timothy (Kimberly) Maxwell of West Sunbury; four grandchildren, Tori, Logan, Cyler and Zayden Maxwell; his sister, Tina (Randy) Myers of Evans City; and a brother, Craig (Jane) Maxwell of Prospect.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Tiffany Maxwell; and a sister, Tammy Maxwell.
MAXWELL — Friends of Sherwood G. “Chip” Maxwell, who died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
