State police issued an AMBER Alert for 1-year-old Dior Thomas on Thursday evening.

UPDATE: The missing girl was found and is safe last Thursday, according to a tweet from the official Pennsylvania State Police Twitter account

Pennsylvania State Police issued an AMBER Alert Thursday for Diore Thomas, a 1-year-old Black female from Pittsburgh who is approximately 15 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen at 12:30 p.m. at Bessemer Avenue in east Pittsburgh wearing a pink T-shirt and a pink sleeper. Police say she was abducted by Giante Thomas, 20, a 5-foot, 6-inch, 140-pound male with black hair and brown eyes. Thomas is said to be driving a white 2018 Jeep Compass with a Pennsylvania license plate reading LPB2547. He is believed to be armed with a firearm.

State Police request anyone with information to dial 911.
