Butler Bass Casters joins heroin battle
Butler Bass Casters, in association with Dennis Baglier, recently gave $4,000 to Butler County Against Heroin to support the group’s continued Stand Tall programming in area schools.
Stand Tall is an anti-drug program that seeks to prevent drug usage among Butler Area School District children in grades seven through 12, according to Bill Bittner, the anti-heroin group’s president.
Bittner’s group is a nonprofit that has functioned in the community since the early 2000s.
Butler Bass Caster is a bass fishing club that regularly raises money for charitable organizations.
