Alice M. Timblin
Alice M. Timblin, 88, of Volant, formerly of Chicora died unexpectedly Monday in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Feb. 23, 1930, in Chicora, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence M. Wolford Timblin.
She worked at the Nixon Hotel in Butler, preparing food in the restaurant.
She was a member of Shiloh Ministries in Mercer.
She was an avid puzzle doer and liked doing puzzles, puzzle books, word searches and crossword puzzles, playing cards, animals and birds. She loved watching cowboys.
Alice is survived by her granddaughters, Tracy (Kevin) Johnson of West Virginia, Jennifer (Floyd) Pisor of Volant, Shawna Crissman of Butler; a grandson, Shane Crissman of Butler; her great-grandchildren, Dwight Scott, Jamie Kutch and Shane Crissman Jr.; her great-great-grandson, Mason Scott; and a niece, Paula Ealy.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret M. Crissman; three sisters; and a brother.
TIMBLIN — Friends of Alice M. Timblin, who died Monday, April 23, 2018, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E.
