Suresh Samuel

Suresh Samuel, 53, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Dec. 20, 2021, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Latrobe.

He was born July 23, 1968, in Monrovia, Liberia, and was the son of the late Ravidhas Samuel and Vanaja Amirtharaj Samuel.

Suresh enjoyed music, reading, history, sports, and playing his clarinet and saxophone.

He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in environmental health and biology.

Suresh is survived by his mother, Vanaja Amirtharaj Samuel; one brother, Dhinesh (Yogi) Samuel of Butler; and two nephews, Zephan Samuel and Zuriel Samuel.

SAMUEL — Friends of Suresh Samuel, who died Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, will be received from 11 a.m. until noon Thursday at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, with a service to follow at noon with Pastor Joe Floris officiating.

A private burial will take place in North Side Cemetery.
