The Butler Lions Club’s school supply drive to benefit students with special needs attending the Center Avenue Community School is underway.

The drive will accept contributions through Sept. 3.

Suggested items include: pens, pencils, crayons, washable markers, copy paper, cellophane tape, facial tissues, hand sanitizer, folders, binders and rulers.

Cash donations will also be accepted as well as gift cards that can be used to buy school supplies.

Donations are being collected at the Butler Blind Association, 322 N. Cedar St., (at the rear of the Maridon Museum) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday).
