Schrecengost

Karen Sue Schrecengost, 58, of Zelienople, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital of McCandless Township.

Born on June 2, 1963, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Betty Miller Schrecengost.

Karen loved collecting key chains, wallets and purses. She enjoyed word searches and playing cards. She also loved to read and enjoyed going bowling. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory her sisters, Judy Miller and Lois (Hillis) Kaltenbaugh; her eight nephews and four nieces; two uncles and two aunts; and several great-nephews, great-nieces and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Schrecengost; and her brother-in-law, Larry Miller.

SCHRECENGOST — Services for Karen Sue Schrecengost, who died Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, were held privately by the family.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
