Joan R. McQuillan

Joan R. McQuillan, 85, of Mars, formerly of Hampton Township, passed away on Sunday morning, Sept. 19, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born Feb. 16, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret Brown Cadwallader.

Joan had been a housekeeper at St. Margaret's Hospital.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are two sons, Robert McQuillan (Linda Sorce) of Richland Township and James McQuillan of West Deer; two daughters, Deborah Newcamp (Paul) of Mars and Virginia Funk (Michael) of Richland Township; her grandchildren, Taressa Rhodes, Dena Miller, Jennifer Newcamp, Louis Funk and James McQuillan; and her great-grandchildren, Asher, Anna, Elyn, Talon and Elijah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. McQuillan; a grandson, Bradley Newcamp; her brothers, Thomas and John Cadwallader; and her sisters, Margaret Qualiotto, Helen Manning, Mary Lou Migliretto and Patricia Faggioli.

MCQUILLAN — Friends of Joan R. McQuillan, who died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A blessing service will follow at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Bober, pastor of St. Kilian Church officiating.
