The Butler County Alliance for Children Child Advocacy Center will have its sixth annual barbecue fundraiser from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at McDanel’s Boat Launch on the North Shore of Moraine State Park.

According to Denna Hays, the executive director of the Child Advocacy Center, there will be a pig roast and catering by Fairground Market, an ice cream bar by Chill Out Beverage Co., a popcorn bar by Popped Envy, basket and 50/50 raffles, children’s games and face painting. There will be tours of Lake Arthur on the Preston Pearl Nautical Boat at 6:15 and 7 p.m.

There will be live music, as well, with Tyrone Smith performing from 4 to 5 p.m., the Rock Jazz Trio performing from 5 to 7 p.m. and the North Country Ramblers playing from 7 to 9 p.m.

Hays said tickets will be available for purchase at the event. All money raised will go to fund the Child Advocacy Center, 101 Mahood Road.
