Donna Roche

Donna Bowser Roche, 78, of Palm City, Fla., peacefully passed away on Sept. 16, 2021.

Donna was born Aug. 10, 1943, to Robert “Dean” and Angeline Bowser of Butler.

She grew up in a loving home, filled with five siblings, Richard Bowser (Nancie), Johann Slupe (Rich), Judith Meehan (George) and George Bowser (Susan). ?

She was preceded in death by her parents; and younger sister, Shirley Desantis.

Donna moved to Florida after graduating from Butler High School in 1961. ?

She met her loving husband, Brian in Daytona Beach, and they married in January of 1965. They were blessed with a daughter, Tracy in 1970.

As a secretary and bookkeeper for medical doctors, Donna retired after 25 years of service from the Orthopedic Center in Lake Worth, Fla.

Once retired, she enjoyed playing golf, cards and slot machines. Her witty personality and fun-loving spirit amused her many friends and family.

Donna is survived by her husband of 57 years, Brian; her daughter, Tracy Lermond (James); and two wonderful grandchildren, Austin and Danielle.

Donna always reserved her Saturdays to enjoy the children. Everyone knew not to plan anything on “Grammy Day!”

ROCHE — A celebration of life memorial for Donna Bowser Roche, who died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, will be held Wednesday at Forest Hills Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society-Florida, West Palm Beach, P.O. Box 17127, Tampa, FL. 33682.
