The Butler Transit Authority is resuming some local bus service Tuesday after suspending all local service last week due to driver illness.

Routes 1 and 3 will resume operating trips 1 through 8, but trips 9 through 11 remain out of service.

The BTA said additional routes will be reinstated as soon as possible, and riders should check the BTA's website, butlertransit.com, for updates.

The downtown bus terminal will be closed. When the terminal reopens, riders with unlimited passes can see the terminal staff for replacement of their passes.
