Sgt. Kevin Uhrinek, son of Bernard and Joyce Uhrinek of Sarver, has returned home after serving a year in Iraq with the 1/17 Field Artillery Regiment attached to the 4th Infantry Division.

Uhrinek will return to Fort Sill, Okla., after two weeks leave.

He is a 1995 graduate of Freeport High School.
