Andrew Stahura IV has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army after completing the Army ROTC program and graduating with a bachelor's degree from Indiana (Pa.) University.
Stahura is assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division, Republic of Korea.
He is the son of Andrew and Ann Stahura of Butler.
The lieutenant is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School.

Two area residents, Navy Fireman Apprentice
Matthew Dunlap and Navy Midshipman
Michael McHugh, recently participated in the Navy's largest deployment evolution, Summer Pulse '04, while assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk, forward deployed in Yokosuka, Japan.
Dunlap, who joined the Navy in August 2003, is the son of Mark Dunlap of Portersville and Virginia Dunlap of Virginia Beach, Va.
McHugh, son of Kathryn and Thomas McHugh of Glenshaw, is a 2003 graduate of Shaler High School and joined the Navy in July 2003.

Air Force Airman Jesse Burk has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
Burk is the son of James and Virginia Burk of Harmony.
