Christopher Foringer, son of Charles and Patricia Foringer of Butler, recently was deployed to Iraq with the Army 82nd Airborne. He previously served a year in Korea.

Air Force Airman <B>Lindsay Fortuna</B> has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.She is the daughter of Kay Mainhart of Saxonburg and Joseph Fortuna of Tarentum.Fortuna is a 2004 graduate of Deer Lakes High School, Russellton.

Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer <B>Andrew Pepe</B>, a 1980 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, recently retired after 24 years of outstanding service in the U.S. Coast Guard while assigned to Integrated Support Command, Cleveland.During his time in service, he served in various billets, including housing officer for Ninth Coast Guard District, Cleveland; chief, Personnel Reporting Unit, Coast Guard Group, Mobile, Ala.; and Regional Systems Manager, Tidewater Area, Va.Pepe received several personal awards, campaign ribbons and medals, including the Coast Guard Medal for Extraordinary Heroism, the Coast Guard Achievement Medal, three Commandant's Letter of Commendation Ribbons and five Coast Guard Good Conduct Medals.He joined the Coast Guard in July 1980.
