Mike Pflugh, son of Fred and Kandy Pflugh of Hooker, graduated from basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., where he was assigned to Alpha Co. 2-54th Infantry Division.He currently is stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, with the 18th Infantry Division and is training with Bradley tanks.Pflugh is a 2003 alumnus of Moniteau High School.---Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class

Keith Samek has graduated from the traffic management apprentice course at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.Samek is the son of Jim and Donna Samek of Butler.He is a 2004 alumnus of Knoch High School.
