Marine Corps Pfc.
Daniel Hodak, son of Debra Zahorchak of Gibsonia and George Hodak of Allison Park, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., and was promoted to his current rank.Hodak is a 2004 graduate of Pine-Richland High School.
Marine Corps <B>Pvt. Edward Murawski</B>, son of Edward Murawski of Rimersburg, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
Air Force Airman <B>Kristopher Minnich</B> has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.He is the son of Ronda Minnich of Cranberry Township.The airman is a 2004 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.
On March 3, Sgt. 1st Class <B>Suzanne Leach</B>, daughter of David and Donna Walker of Slippery Rock, testified at a Senate Appropriation Sub-Committee hearing on Military Quality of Life and Veterans' Affairs in Washington, D.C. She was one of two soldiers representing the Army Reserves. Only two female soldiers and six males were invited to the hearing.Leach, who served in Iraq from January 2003 to April 2004, currently is assigned to the 402nd Quartermaster Battalion and is the unit administrator for the 298th Transportation Co. in Franklin.The former Slippery Rock resident lives in Meadville with her two children.
