Daniel R. Myers
Daniel R. Myers, 62, of Butler, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 18, 1959, in Greenville, Pa., he was the son of the late Roy J. and Peggy (Robinson) Myers.
Daniel graduated from Greenville High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Operation Desert Storm. After the Army, Daniel attended Thiel College, and received an associate degree.He was Methodist by faith. Daniel was employed as a respiratory therapist from 1988 until his retirement from Butler VA Healthcare.He was a member of F&AM Victory Lodge 272, Butler. Daniel enjoyed reading, John Wayne movies, “Dungeons and Dragons,” computer games, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Debra Myers, whom he married April 27, 1991; his daughter, Holli N. Waddell and her husband, John, of East Springfield, Pa.; a stepson, Joshua M. Fry and his wife, Amee, of Butler; a stepdaughter, Jessica M. Moore and her husband, Trevor, of Cowansville; seven grandchildren, Lylli, Ella, Addie, Kyler, Margo, John Wesley and Leland; three sisters, Judy Eakin and her husband, Howard, of Medina, Ohio, Susie Hanna of Senecaville, Ohio, and Amy Noble and her husband, Robert, of Greenville; three brothers, John Myers and his wife, Ruth, of San Benito, Texas, Kevin Myers of Jamestown, Pa., and his twin brother, David R. Myers and his wife, Marcia, of New Castle; and numerous nieces and nephews.MYERS — Family and friends of Daniel R. Myers, who died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, are invited to a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.A Masonic service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
