Frank McDowell
Frank McDowell, 82, of Emlenton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at his residence of natural causes.
Born Sept. 18, 1939, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Carl J. and Magdalena Raible McDowell.
Frank was employed by the former Pullman-Standard of Butler, until its closing. He was later employed by Open-Joist Manufacturing in Scrubgrass Township.
He was a social member of the VFWs in Parker and Cherry Valley.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Wagner McDowell; his daughter, Cindy White and his grandson, Austin, of the Butler area; his sisters, Madelen Spence of South Carolina, and Janice Marie Sherman of Butler; and his brothers, William Jennings McDowell of Meridian, and Carl Gerald “Gary” McDowell of Butler.
