Snowstorm downs tree limbs, power lines
Waves of blowing snow overnight and early this morning kept police and volunteer firefighters busy with more than a dozen downed tree limbs and downed power lines.
Penn Township appeared to be the most affected, with 1,100 customers of West Penn Power without service as of 8:20 a.m. The company restored power to nearly all of those customers by 9:15 a.m.
