John J. Cujas of New Brighton, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, at the Grove at Harmony.

Born Jan. 5, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy Hainer Cujas.

He attended Victory Family Church.

John was a contractor, who enjoyed teaching his grandchildren his craft. He retired from Costco, having worked in the floral department.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Powell Cujas; one daughter, Beverly Makray; one son, Aaron Cujas; two sisters, Ruth Kirk and Dorothy (Jim) Banas; one brother, George (Judy) Cujas; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

CUJAS — A memorial service for John J. Cujas, who died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, is being planned for May.
