A-C Valley Do Something Good Club donates to veterans
FOXBURG — For the past 10 years, students in the Do Something Good Club at Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District have been collecting items to assemble into care packages to send to veterans.
“Do Something Good Club is always looking for ways to give back to our little community, but this project allows us to reach beyond the school district and recognize our servicemen and women to let them know that we are thinking of them and thankful for their dedication,” said Peggy Plowman, club adviser and learning support teacher.
This year, items will be collected throughout the school district through Friday. Care packages will be assembled and sent out next week.
