[naviga:h3]SRU tops 3 PSAC foes in academics[/naviga:h3]

LOCK HAVEN — Slippery Rock University led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference in team grade point average in three different sports in 2019-20, the PSAC announced Wednesday.

The Rock field hockey team had a 3.821 GPA while the women's soccer team was at 3.738 and the men's track and field team was at 3.372.

Gannon and West Chester led the conference academically in four sports each.

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Aunt Bee, a 3-year-old filly owned by Greg and Susan Callihan of Chicora, captured her second straight win Wednesday in harness racing at The Meadows.

The horse won a $9,000 Conditioned Trot. Susan Callihan is also her trainer.
