Aaron’s is holding a grand opening of one of its “reimagined” national furniture, appliance and electronics rent-to-own stores in Butler Township on Thursday.

The Aaron’s store at 144 Point Plaza off New Castle Road is one of 60 “NextGen” stores the company renovated to feature only new furniture, appliances and electronics in larger showrooms, and previously leased items in a smaller, separate showrooms.

Renovating the 60 stores was done to recognize a shift in consumer priorities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new-item showrooms are larger, brighter and more colorful. Each store renovation cost roughly $500,000, according to Aaron’s.
