CRANBERRY TWP — An Oxford, Pa., man facing hundreds of charges for allegedly abusing and assaulting young boys in Chester County is facing similar charges in Butler County for incidents that allegedly occurred nearly 14 years ago.

Robert Dean Caesar, 55, faces charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age, a felony, and misdemeanor charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, two counts of corruption of a minor, possession of an instrument of crime with intent and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age. The charges stem from a series of incidents first reported to Cranberry Township police in 2005.

According to the criminal complaint filed Wednesday in District Judge David Kovach's office, two juvenile males, ages 9 and 14, reported on July 16, 2005, that they had been sexually assaulted at different times by Caesar, who at the time was living in Cranberry Township.

As of Thursday, the charges had not yet been served on Caesar. However, he faces hundreds of charges in Chester County for similar incidents there.

An accusation was also made against Caesar in which he reportedly sexually abused two juvenile males between 2015 and 2017. A third victim came forward alleging similar contact in 2016.

Initial court documents were filed in Chester County District Judge Scott A. Massey's office in January, charging Caesar with 40 total charges. In February, 201 additional charges were filed.

A hearing on all charges is scheduled May 29 in Massey's Chester County office.
