EAST PITTSBURGH, Allegheny County — A high school student and a police officer have found a missing 3-year-old boy following a four-hour search that included police, neighbors, firefighters and a helicopter.

Kymir Woods’ mother notified police around 3 p.m. Sunday that her toddler had gone missing from his East Pittsburgh home.

The high schooler said Kymir was on a hillside near a neighborhood playground. Allegheny County Housing Police Chief Mike Vogel said the boy appeared dazed. The boy was taken to an area hospital. He didn’t sustain any serious injuries.
