Navy Seaman

Nicholas Neff, son of Nadine and James Neff of Chicora, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.Neff is a 2005 graduate of Butler High School.——

Marine Corps Pfc. <B>Evan Nolte</B>, son of Edna and Harry Nolte of Butler, recently completed the small arms repair course at the Army's Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Md.With his newly acquired skills, Nolte is now ready to work at a military base armory.——

Army National Guard Spec. <B>William Rape </B>has returned to the United States after being deployed to an overseas forward-operating location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.Rape is the son of Don Rape and Lindsay Rape, both of Zelienople.——

Army Pvt. <B>Chad Raudebaugh </B>has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C., where he earned distinction as an honor graduate.Raudebaugh, son of Randy and Bonnie Raudebaugh of Slippery Rock, is a 2002 graduate of Slippery Rock High School.——

Army Spec. <B>Joshua Watkins </B>has returned to the United States after being deployed to an overseas forward-operating location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.Watkins, an infantry team leader with seven years of military service, is the son of Thomas Watkins Jr. of Cranberry Township, and Karen Helbig of Pittsburgh.The sergeant graduated in 1998 from Shaler High School.——

Marine Corps Pvt. <B>William Ziegler IV, </B>son of William Ziegler III of Evans City and Pamela Ziegler of Curwensville, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., and was meritoriously promoted to his current rank.Ziegler is a 2005 graduate of Curwensville High School.
