Classes resume remotely at BC3
Butler County Community College students went back to class Monday after a ransomware attack closed down operations Nov. 29.
Students are attending classes remotely, but non-instructional staff returned.
The semester’s final week of classes was pushed back one week because of the attack. The college’s final week of fall semester credit classes will be held through Friday. BC3 moved its finals week to next week. Final examinations will be held in the course’s previously scheduled format.
The college’s website is also back online after being down during the closure.
