Mars Area High School has announced its 2020 homecoming court.

Candidates for 2020 homecoming queen are Macy Barshick, Ellie Coffield, Lauren Jablunovsky, Megan Mann, Emily Mayer, Megan Smith, Genevieve Thomas and Caroline Wroblewski.

King candidates are Lance Bartley, Colin Boyle, Christian Kay, Teddy Ruffner, Anthony Vargo, Shaun Wasylson, Luke Whittaker and Jake Wooldridge.

Homecoming king will be announced prior to the Planets’ homecoming football game against the Plum Mustangs at 7 p.m. Friday at Mars Athletic Complex.

Homecoming queen will be announced at halftime.

In order to adhere to current gathering limitations and social distancing guidelines, Mars Area High School is unable to hold the same homecoming activities as in year’s past. There will be no Powder Puff football games, homecoming pep rally, homecoming parade and homecoming dance.
