Deadline looming for voter registration

Monday is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 2 election.

Unregistered voters ages 18 and older who would like to cast their ballots next month and in all future elections can register to vote in a number of ways.

Registration is available online by logging onto butlercountypa.gov and clicking on “Bureau of Elections.”

That page will lead to a site where residents can register to vote.

Residents also can print out a voter registration form and take it to the Bureau of Elections at the Butler County Government Center behind the courthouse on Main Street.

The documents to register to vote also are available at the bureau to residents on a walk-in basis.

In addition, registration documents also are available at the state Department of Transportation Driver License Center in Butler Township.

Given the short deadline, those documents must be completed immediately and taken to the elections bureau.

More details are available at vote.pa.gov.
