The Butler County Drug Task Force, working with Butler’s police department and the Butler County Sheriff’s department, have arrested two men on drug charges.

The charges came after authorities searched an apartment on Shore Street at 9 a.m. Monday, police reported this afternoon.

There officers seized 500 stamp bags of heroin, about 15 grams of heroin yet to be packaged for sale, as well as items and paraphernalia for packaging heroin. They also found $905 in cash.

Police arrested Maximillian Miguel Buckner, 21, of Southfield, Mich., who is in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail, and Brandon Michale Backus, 28, 411 B Shore St., who is in the prison on $50,000 bail.

Both have been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal conspiracy.
