Effective Jan. 1, the price of the Butler Eagle will be adjusted to compensate for the rise in the cost of producing the newspaper. This will be the first increase in home delivery rates in 10 years.

The new subscription rate for home delivery of the newspaper will be $12 per month. The Eagle carrier delivery force will receive a substantial amount of the increase.

The price for store copies will also increase Jan. 1 to $1 for the daily newspaper and $1.50 on Sunday.

There is probably no other product that has maintained such low prices over the years as daily newspapers. We appreciate our customers and the privilege to have served the Butler community since 1869.
