Drought ends for driver Schaltenbrand
BUFFALO TWP — Ken Schaltenbrand of Sarver reached victory lane at Lernerville Speedway Friday night for the first time since 2010, winning the Late Model feature.
Michael Norris threatened to lap the field at one point in the race, but a slow-developing flat tire late in the race cost him. Schaltenbrand used a good restart to get past Kelvin Kohan for the win.
Jack Sodeman Jr. earned his first feature win of the season in the Sprints. Jeremiah Shingledecker won the Modified feature as points leader Brian Swartzlander blew a tire with three laps remaining.
Tyler Dietz held off Joey Zambotti for the win in the Pro Stock feature.
There were 55 cars in the pits.
