Tye Elder worked five strong innings, striking out four, as Karns City won its second game in as many days with a 6-1 victory over East Butler in a game shortened to five innings by rain Thursday evening.

Tyler Yough had a two-run triple and Brock Weigle also drove in a pair of runs for Karns City (4-9).

Jacob Weckerly doubled and singled and Logan Sell also had a hit for Karns City, which will be in action again Saturday in a doubleheader against Cranberry Township.
