Joseph J. Ritson

April 28, 1925 – March 27, 2019

The years may wipe out many things

But this they’ll wipe out never,

The memory of those happy days

When we were all together.

We think of him in silence,

His name we oft recall,

But there’s nothing left to answer

Except his picture on the wall.

Just when his life was brightest,

Just when his hopes were best,

God called him from among us

To a home of eternal rest.

You are gone but never forgotten.
