Winning pitcher Blaze Voltz delivered a two-run single in the second inning to give Saxonburg the lead for good in an 8-1 Butler County Area Baseball League victory over East Butler at Speed-O Field recently.

Rocky Kopac had a three-run double in the fifth for Saxonburg while Zack McMillen had a run-scoring triple in the sixth.

Colton Collins plated East Butler’s only run with a double in the fourth. Braden Hagater had the team’s only other hit.

Pine Richland 6, Butler Township 2 — Pine Richland scored all six of its runs in the first two innings. Grant Voytovich had a two-run triple in the first inning.

Kyle Weitzel had a run-scoring triple and Bryan Presco drove home a run for Butler Township.

Karns City 7, Center Township 2 — Broc Weigle was the winning pitcher and Karns City banged out 13 hits. Salvo hit a two-run homer.
