Happy Birthday
Ralph Gross stands on the green at Krendale Golf Course Thursday, the same day he was surprised with a birthday cake inside a rain shelter at the course. Gross, who lives outside of Zelienople, turned 90 on Saturday. He plays in the Tri-Boro Golf League, of which he was a charter member in 1958. Gross coached Seneca Valley’s golf team for 23 seasons (1966-88) and was inducted into the SV Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.
