Mallory Fisher

Mallory Fisher of Prospect graduated cum laude May 15 from Grove City College with a bachelor's in psychology and minors in religion and sociology. She was accepted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in psychology.While at Grove City, she was president of Steel City Ministries, a Christ-centered organization that serves the less fortunate in Pittsburgh and other urban areas. She did public relations work within Stonebridge Concerts, a student-led organization that produces concerts on the Grove City College campus.She accepted a position at Northwestern Human Services in Lyndora, where she works as a therapeutic staff support with children with special needs.A 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, she is the daughter of Floyd and Marsha Fisher and granddaughter of Lucille and Leroy Carson of Butler.———

<B>Matthew Celestin</B> of Butler graduated summa cum laude May 9 from Indiana (Pa.) University with a bachelor's in criminology and a minor in economics.While at IUP, Celestin was vice president of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, a Provost Scholar, a member of the National Black Law Students Association, the Pre-Law Society, Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society, Criminology Association and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. He was captain of the men's track and field team and participated in the long and triple jump all four years. He received the Gregory W. Spinelli Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded to a graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and a commitment to a career in the criminal justice system.He plans to further his studies this fall at Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C.A 2006 gradate of Butler High School, he is the son of Cody and Mary Lou Celestin of Butler.———

<B>David Allen</B> of Madison, Wisc., formerly of Slippery Rock, graduated May 16 with a bachelor's in computer science and a minor in Japanese from the School of Engineering at Case Western Reserve University.While at the university, he was a Provost Scholar.He received the Alumni Scholarship and the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Award for best senior project in Computer Science. He was a teaching assistant for three years in the computer science department. During his senior year, he completed a fellowship designing software for local businesses with Qube Lab, a software consultation startup.He accepted a position as a software developer at Epic in Madison, Wisc.He attended Hokusei Gakuen University in Sapporo, Japan, from 2008 to 2009. A 2005 graduate of Slippery Rock University, he is the son of Richard and Geri Allen of Slippery Rock.———

<B>Megan Ratica</B> of Butler graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor's in elementary education.While at Slippery Rock, she was on the dean's list and was vice president of the Slippery Rock University Literacy Council.A 2006 graduate of Butler High School, she is the daughter of Jack and Mary Lou Ratica of Butler.———U.S. Navy Ensign <B>Kevin Rodrigo</B>, formerly of Butler, graduated May 28 from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He earned a bachelor's in aerospace engineering with a concentration in aeronautics. While at the Naval Academy, he was a member of the Navy soccer team for three years and the Navy crew team for one year. Following graduation, Rodrigo reported to his home port of San Diego.He is the son of Paul and Cynthia Rodrigo of Sinking Spring, Pa.———
