Tamera S. Cavey

Tamera S. “Tami” Cavey, 57, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Saturday morning, Dec. 4, 2021, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township, with her loving family at her side.

Born in Homestead, Fla., on Sept. 16, 1964, she is the daughter of Ingle R. Smith and the late Patricia Bruce Smith.

For the past seven years, Tami had been the director of communication and office manager for New Community Church in Wexford, where she was a member. Active in her church, she was in charge of technology and was on the Women's Ministry Leadership Team.

Surviving are her husband, William E. Cavey, whom she married on March 2, 1991; her daughter, Ashley Culver and her husband, Daniel, of Killeen, Texas; and her father, Ingle R. Smith and his wife, Susan, of Butler.

Cavey — Friends of Tamera S. “Tami” Cavey, who died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at the New Community Church, 3101 Wexford Road, Wexford. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bolton, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
