Emily Milford of Emlenton was named valedictorian at Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School this year.

Coty Weston of Parker was named salutatorian.The daughter of Alison and Mark Milford will attend Slippery Rock University and major in physical therapy.The son of Todd and Robin Weston will attend Penn State-Behrend, majoring in plastics engineering technologies.Emily was voted senior class president, student council vice president and homecoming queen. She is a member of the National Honor Society, an honor student, and the winner of five scholarships and 10 awards.She participated in cross country, track, indoor soccer and the school's marching and concert bands.

Coty was president of the math club and junior class president. He is a member of the National Honor Society, was an honor student and is in Penn State Behrend's Honor Program.Coty won five scholarships and three awards, including one for perfect attendance. He enjoys hunting and fishing.The school had 74 graduates in the Class of 2011.
