WASHINGTON, Pa. — Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown collected two more wins this week in harness racing action at The Meadows.

Brown guided Allstar Partner, at 13-1 odds, to victory Thursday. The 10-year-old gelding won a $10,000 Claiming Pace.

He then teamed with trainer Steve Schoeffel of Evans City Thursday in winning a $5.700 Claiming Pace with 5-year-old gelding Stranger Things.

Zelie’s White helps GCC hoop victory

GROVE CITY — Portersville Christian graduate and Zelienople resident Elijah White scored 10 points in Grove City College’s 91-85 men’s basketball win over Geneva Thursday.

The game was a semifinal in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Tournament. White is a sophomore center on the team.
