Jon Knoll

Jon Knoll of Bruin graduated summa cum laude from Clarion University with a bachelor's degree in mass media arts, journalism and communication studies.

Knoll is the son of Jon and Patti Knoll of Chicora and Anna Barnhart of Bruin.

He is a 2008 graduate of Karns City High School.

Zane Cupec of Slippery Rock graduated cum laude from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in music education.Cupec studied abroad in both Ghana, Africa, and Brazil.Cupec will continue his education at Northern Illinois University with a focus on percussion performance and world music.———Jessie Foertsch of Butler graduated summa cum laude from Westminster College with a bachelor's degree in history.She graduated with All-College Honors and is a member of Mortar Board, Kappa Delta Pi, Phi Alpha Theta and Omicron Delta Kappa.Foertsch is a 2008 graduate of Knoch High School and the daughter of Al and Deb Foertsch.———Anne Kamarchik of Saxonburg earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Vermont.———

Gina Benninger of Butler graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in statistics and a minor in theatre.Benninger received the Honors College National Scholarship each year and the William and Zelda Keck Memorial Scholarship for a student in the College of Natural Science her senior year.She was an undergraduate teaching assistant for two years and earned a senior teaching award for teaching precalculus.Benninger was a student representative to the Dean's Council of the College of Natural Science.She is employed by the Media Theatre Performance Laboratory in Lansing, Mich.Benninger will continue her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she will study statistics and work as a teaching assistant.She is a 2008 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of Russel Benninger and Dr. Barbara Gibson-Benninger.———
