Dawn Croasmunreceived a Master of Education from Slippery Rock University. She graduated with a 4.0 and certification in special education.

Croasmun is a 1993 graduate of Butler High School and received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and social studies from Clarion University in 1998.

She lives in Butler with her husband, Nathan, and her daughter, Bailey.

She is the daughter of Arthur and Betty Carney of Lyndora.
